OpenNebulaPro 3.8.2 (build 93f28dd) is the first release of the OpenNebulaPro 3.8 series, bringing the already tested, latest functionality of OpenNebula community to the Pro version. The new functionality is described in the Release Notes of OpenNebula 3.8.This release includes patches for the following bugs solved since the OpenNebula 3.8.1 community version was released, as well as some useful minor features. These are:
- Feature #1649: Limit bandwidth used by image registration process: A new attribute can be set in all datastore types: LIMIT_TRANSFER_BW. This new attribute specifies the maximum transfer rate in bytes/second when downloading images from a http/httpsURL. Suffixes K, M or G can be used. As usual this can be set by updating the datastore template (onedatastore update or through Sunstone)
- Feature #1620: OpenNebula should not free host resources for suspended VMs
- Feature #1551: Provide a configuration option for the VM transfer files. The new VM directory is placed in /var/lib/one/vms (or $ONE_LOCATION/var/vms in self-contained installations). For more information you can check online documentation.
