The OpenNebula Innovation Alliance defines a collaboration framework between OpenNebula and the most demanding cloud computing providers. The Alliance provides advisory capacity to the OpenNebula project for all development and community activities to achieve the objectives of the project. Its members collaborate with OpenNebula in the fields of open-source and innovation in cloud computing management to:

• Shape the future of the project
• Provide valuable feedback leading to product refinements or new functionality
• Optimize the performance and scalability of the new versions of OpenNebula on very large scale infrastructures
• Innovate in cloud computing management

OpenNebula provides members of the Innovation Alliance with

• Technical support to build a large-scale non-production cloud for evaluation and development
• Integration support to use the product effectively and appropriately
• Early access to roadmaps and development versions

Participation in the Alliance is only for big telecoms, leading hosting and cloud providers, large supercomputing and research centers, and research labs of big companies. Collaboration is formalized though a Memorandum of Understanding between the organization and the OpenNebula Project.
