OpenNebula Technical Conference - Summer 2010

The first edition of the OpenNebula Technology Days includes a tutorial on building clouds with OpenNebula and a technical workshop to present the new features and integration capabilities in the upcoming version. The event will take place in C12G Labs and attendance to the event is by invitation only. A representation of advanced users of the technology, featured projects in the community and C12G partners have been invited, trying to limit the number of participants to 25 people. Due to the very high demand, new events will be organized in the next months. Please send us an email to events@opennebula.org if you want to participate.

Agenda

The goal of this tutorial is to provide a global overview of the process of installing, configuring and deploying private, public and hybrid clouds using the OpenNebula Toolkit. The tutorial will focus on three key aspects when managing a virtual infrastructure, namely: image management, networking and hypervisors. Additionally the tutorial will address the scale-out of the site by allocating extra capacity on the Amazon EC2. The tutorial is based in open source cloud components and includes hands-on exercises.
